Welcome to Cessnock!

Cessnock is the gateway to the Hunter Valley vineyards. The city provides easy access to the oldest wine-growing region in Australia. A number of fine restaurants, guesthouses and galleries can be found in Cessnock.

In recent years, Cessnock is leaving its coal mining history behind and focusing on developing its tourism industry. By basing yourself here you may be able to cut costs as there are cheaper alternatives to sleeping in amongst the vines.

Orientation & Information

Vincent Street is the main street and runs perpendicular of Wollombi Road. Several ATMs can be found alone here.
